Where We've Been

On several Fall drives... we haven't made it up to the Aspen/Vail area this season, but there is plenty of color all around Colorado:

Making pumpkin granola... lots of it.

Celebrating Taylor's birthday at the office. Those sandwiches were handmade by his mummy...

In Dallas, TX with Matt at the Majestic Theater and to Elm Place where JFK was shot...

The Fort Worth Stock Yards...

We hung out for the cattle drive ... not a Texas-sized one at all, but fun ...

M and I had to buy Texas sweatshirts as the weather was unseasonably COLD ...

Dinner at Riscky's where they serve Calf Fries. Email me if you want to know what they are. M and I wanted to order them for S and tell him what they were afterwards. We weren't so brave.

A Texas military wedding with Timothy, M and Hubby ...

And Scottsdale. I'm not a big fan of AZ, so these twin Porsches were the highlight of the landscape... one for me, one for you.

I had never seen these bright green trees, complete with matching bark. It was in this parking lot where I came across a little consignment shop offering a 10 lb., 12" x 15" book exhibiting all of the artwork of Currier and Ives, and from that material, an awful lot of American history.

And cheap seats on the way home ...

Sipping some hip coffee at a hip coffee shop with J last weekend ... LOVE when my sons invite us to go somewhere with them ...

It's been a busy couple of months, but I think we're slowing down now before heading into the holidays next month when I THINK that ALL of my kids will be with us for Thanksgiving!!

Happy Autumn!
